Job Description:

As a Lead Business Analyst, you will lead a team of Business Analyst to produce high quality designs to meet customer, operational and regulatory needs and ensure they have a broader understanding of the change projects within their Tower/portfolio. You will also develop a knowledge of the subject matter to inform and support the Business Analyst and Project Manager in the successful delivery of change and will be the first point of call for any Business Analysis queries.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assure the quality and scope of BA deliverables
  • Demonstrates leadership skills and the ability to manage teams of professional colleagues
  • Drive quality output from a team of BA’s in a timely manner despite competing priorities and changing agendas to meet strategic needs of the business
  • Manage multiple complex workstreams and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to elicit, document and prioritise comprehensive sets of requirements for Change initiatives and ensuring MVP is delivered
  • Lead the Business Analyst community within your team and provide support and development
  • Lead analysis and design work on complex, large projects with the support of a team of Business Analysts
  • Strong communication skills, with proven ability to effectively communicate ideas, proposals, issues and risks
  • Engage with key stakeholders to ensure commercial value is aligned with expectations across all propositions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across key business areas to develop strategy, build a business case and utilise digital accelerators
  • Work with various methodologies and explore a range of options to develop the most appropriate solution (data-driven) for the business
  • Responsible for allocation of project workload between the BAs working on the project
  • Work collaboratively with tower stakeholders in the production of accurate reporting for governance forums

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management at all levels up to Director level
  • Excellent communication skills to be able to talk to Partners throughout TSB
  • Excellent leader of analysts across multiple projects
  • Have a strong understanding of different methodologies, particularly Agile and Waterfall and working experience of both
  • Good understanding of user stories, story mapping and Process mapping
  • Confident in translating requirements to developers in order to contribute to functional and technical designs
  • Experience of working on Digital projects is desirable.
  • Experience of Agile tooling (Jira/Confluence) is desirable
  • Experience or background in Financial Crime is desirable
