Job Responsibilities:

The Desktop Architect is responsible for Indigo’s end-user experience when interacting with corporate endpoints.

• Responsible for PCI-compliant hardening standards with supporting documentation
• Own the vision and strategy around management platforms used to deploy and manage all endpoints. This includes the base image, standard software applications, and elective software application
• Create and update all corporate images for desktops, laptops and store PC’s
• Make hardware and software recommendations (Technology Road Maps)
• Responsible for SCCM updates and scheduled roll-outs to all end-users
• Coordinate, with IT- Purchasing, and refresh schedules for aging equipment
• Manage and deploy the roll-out of all hardware refreshes/upgrades/new employees
• Prepare and maintain department documentation which includes inventory and asset management
• Provide Home Office and store end-user hardware and software support
• Ensure all PC configurations are kept up to date through GPOs

Job Requirements:

• University or College degree in Computing Science or related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in an IT support position
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a Desktop Architect role
• A+ Certification
• Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)
• Knowledge of networking technologies
• Must know/have:
• Windows XP/7/10
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Microsoft Software Centre Configuration Manager experience (SCCM)
• Office 365
