Job Responsibilities:

  • Research, pitch and produce engaging stories and multimedia content across traditional and social media channels
  • Demonstrate your ability to film and edit short-form video, as well as take and edit photos
  • Assist in dealing with news media queries and support senior Managers to ensure the effective delivery of business objectives
  • Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders both inside and outside the bank
  • Work collaboratively with team members to plan and deliver content against specific timeframes and budgets
  • Help deliver initiatives that grow customer satisfaction, consideration and market share

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in journalism and/or content producing
  • The ability to identify story angles/ideas about the business, its activities and customers
  • Strong and proven writing skills – able to deliver print-ready copy on time and on brief
  • A good knowledge of social and traditional media and how content performs across multiple platforms
  • An understanding of the issues facing banks and the finance services sector
  • The ability to make and maintain good relationships with media, ANZ contacts and stakeholders
  • Resilience and confidence in handling difficult and challenging situations
  • The ability to think strategically, problem solve and influence
  • A curiosity and eagerness to learn new skills
