Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:
- Experience with surgical skills of mouse femur, cranial, dorsal, spinal cord, and abdominal window chamber installations; animal perfusion; blood sampling; intraperitoneal and tail vein injection; subcutaneous and orthotopic tumor implantation procedures (necessary)
- Preparation of ex vivo tissues for histology
- Meticulous and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and accurately under deadlines
- Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures
- Report writing, contribution to scientific manuscript preparation
- At minimum a Bachelors degree in biochemistry, molecular biology or related discipline, and or Master’s preferred
- Experience with Biorad assays and/or single cell technologies are considered an asset.
- Experience aiding in in vivo intravital optical imaging of tumors in small animals (necessary)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- A willingness to learn new techniques and technologies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a team environment
- Live mammalian cell handling, including accurate immunological cell counting (from spleen and bone marrow) and live cell imaging (necessary)
- Strong writing skills for data and laboratory procedures including experience preparing standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Ability to follow best laboratory practice guidelines according to institutional policies
- Proficiency with MS Office
