Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, build, maintain and document internal controls
• Develop an understanding of Suncor’s business processes and procedures as well as involvement in various projects
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify and improve business policies and procedures
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting such as compiling information and numbers, preparing presentations, performing analyses

Job Requirements:

• Primavera, or similar project management software experience
• Proven computer skills in the Microsoft Office suite, with advanced understanding of Excel (pivot tables, V-lookups)
• The ability to anticipate potential problems, work under pressure and check for out-of-the-ordinary conditions, as well as having a strong sense of accountability
• Collaboration skills that enable you to build strong, positive relationships with diverse groups
• This is an 8 or 12-month work term, from starting in May 2021
• Knowledge and/or experience with aspects of projects, such as change management, data migration, training, testing, and implementation
• You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
• Current enrollment in a formal co-op or internship program in 2nd, 3rd or 4th year Business, Finance or Economics program at an accredited post-secondary institution, and returning to full-time studies after the work term (attach your transcripts)
• Power BI experience
