Job Requirements:

• Professional experience applying statistical analysis, machine learning, analysis and modelling of large scale and complex datasets.
• Proven programming skills including experience conducting modelling and statistical analysis and object-oriented software development (e.g., Python, R, Scala); and massive parallel processing (e.g., Spark, Apache Hadoop).
• B.Sc. in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Financial Economics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or other related discipline).
• Should have 2-5 years of experience in the applicable field
• Excellent presentation skills to both technical and non-technical people.
• Significant experience solving problems with the required use of advanced statistical modelling techniques. Must be able to demonstrate strong statistical knowledge of underlying theory, statistical foundation/understanding and professional application.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to describe and present complex technical concepts in clear and concise language across an audience with varying levels of understanding.
• Ability to lead teams and create an environment of continuous learning and open communication.
• Experience with data visualization tools including Power BI to summarize modelling results.
• Ability to structure and lead a project from idea to experimentation to prototype to delivery to the customer (internal/ external).
• A track record of distilling complex and ambiguous problems into actionable business recommendations based on sound data analysis and insights.
• Experience with ML models (e.g. Gradient Boosting, Random Forest, Decision Trees), predictive models (regression), time series (ARIMA/ ARMA/ SARIMA), NLP, clustering/ segmentation, test/ control significance testing, geospatial analytics.
