Job Responsibilities:

Support project team with commissioning and other duties as requested.
Assist the daily operation as needed
Ensure all issues are properly logged and escalated accordingly
Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
Support Siemens teams when trouble shooting
General cleanup of work areas
Performs on-site and in-house technical support, onsite commissioning support, onsite training of personnel on products and other related products to project team members
Will become a trainer for the Maintenance department and will be expected to train fellow maintenance team members
Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
Proficient writing skills to prepare documentation for review and future reference. The documentation must be coherent and explain thought process for others to understand the information.
Performing electrical work as required
Performing Emergency repairs
Prepare accurate and timely reports
Document technical knowledge in form of technical bulletins and manuals

Job Requirements:

• Industrial electrical troubleshooting skills including 480V three phase motor and control circuits, Electrical schematic print reading, variable frequency drives, motor starters, and input/output systems
• Working and programming knowledge of Siemens PLC systems. Siemens VFD and operations
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an automated maintenance environment.
• Preference given to a candidate with added qualification of 442A Industrial Electrician
• Ability to troubleshoot Barcode scanner system an asset
• Able to solder and repair electronics components and parts
• Must pass a Networking qualification test to be eligible for this position
• Ability to troubleshoot system using electrical print and update the prints
• Familiarity with high level control systems SCADA systems, and network architecture including servers, ethernet, fiber optic, network switches (ethernet, fiber), workstations, and barcode scanning systems, and Profibus
• Must be capable bending, crawling and work in tight spaces
• Ability to navigation computer programs and GUI interfaces
• Must pass a data base qualification test (example Oracle)
• Must pass a PLC qualification test to be eligible for this position
• Electromechanical Engineering Technology Program Diploma or completion of course equivalency in automation programs from a recognized institution required.
