Job Description:

This position will be based out of our Los Gatos office in California. As a Partner Engineer in Test for Netflix, you will focus on developing code to test our app on partner platforms. Your work will directly impact the Netflix business. The functionality in Netflix certified products include streaming and playback, standards driven graphics, dynamic UI, payments, security, and other innovative partner-specific adaptations. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of engineers at Netflix. You will get an opportunity to experience the full software stack, and influence and contribute to our highly specialized tools.

Job Responsibilities:

• Feature Tests authoring for Netflix Partner focused features
• Champion feature integration testing in Partner Engineering
• Tests triage across all major Netflix Partner Platforms during SDK development
• Respond to partner feedback with improvements
• Contribute to and provide critical feedback into developing test strategies
• Explore and extend our device Test capabilities
• Become subject matter expert for all Tests for Partner Engineering

Job Requirements:

• You are fearless about programming languages but have at least one strong preference
• You have explored basic application design and system architecture.
• 3+ years experience with C/C++
• You are highly curious and have explored Linux fundamentals.
• You are passionate about debugging platform level issues.
• 3+ years experience with scripting languages like JavaScript, Python, or similar.
