Job Description:

Lyft is looking for a motivated and organized Operations Specialist to join the Lyft family, full-time. In this role, you will be the face of Lyft, meeting with applicants, current drivers and Lyft Rentals/Express Drive customers at our local facilities. This role is the heartbeat of our local operations and provides immediate exposure to the inner workings of a fast paced, innovative company in hyper growth mode. Job Responsibilities:

  • Guide drivers through the onboarding process
  • Support applicants and drivers with your knowledge of the Lyft platform and local market nuances
  • Work with current drivers to solve any issues that they may have
  • Assist with vehicle transportation and preparation (where applicable)
  • Perform pre and post applicant outreach to get drivers approved and on the road
  • Work a flexible schedule: this is a full-time role that requires availability on evenings and weekends at some locations
  • Uphold Lyft’s high standard of service while working with all drivers and representing the Lyft brand both on and off the clock
  • Work on various special projects – managing logistics, timelines, and stakeholders – as dictated by unique business needs in an emerging market

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent, clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in other languages is considered a plus!
  • 1+ year of experience in an in-person customer service role such as in retail, technical support or hospitality preferred
  • Computer literacy and savviness will go a long way
  • Familiarity with the local market is a plus
  • Must have a satisfactory driving record and is insurable under Lyft’s policy
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and is comfortable transporting vehicles
  • A teamwork and collaborative mindset is a must
  • What should come easy to you: patience, problem identifying and solving, de-escalating situations, teamwork, and self-governance
  • Great customer service and problem-solving skills
