BUSINESS IMPACT STATEMENT Leads HR support of the Distribution Center location productivity by partnering with Executives to attract, develop and retain an engaged workforce while ensuring compliance with HR corporate, state and federal employment policies
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain effective communication with all internal partners to ensure productivity, morale and performance of Associates and Executives
- Oversees delivery of on-site training of HR, Compliance and Business/Professional Skills
- Serve as a subject matter expert with behavioral, performance, ADA and LOA related concerns
- Provides leadership by exhibiting influence and expertise
- Execute critical, complex and high risk associate relations decisions
- Manages new Associate onboarding and orientation
- Creates an effective work environment by developing a common vision, setting clear objectives, expecting teamwork, recognizing outstanding performance and maintaining open communications
- Manages direct reports, systems and projects to achieve unit goals in accordance with Company policies and practices
- Listen to Associates concerns and promotes a thorough understanding of policies and procedures Encourage problem resolution through chain of command
- Partners with the Corporate Shared Services Center (SSC) to answer Associate questions
- Manage all non-routine, time sensitive associate relations concerns. This includes, but is not limited to integrity investigations, responding to EEOC charges, unfit conditions depositions and escalated askHR requests
- Serve as the liaison for HRBPs, cross-functional business partners and the Shared Services Center
Job Requirements:
- High level of critical thinking and decision making skills
- Ability to manage and adapt to a changing environment and able to implement multiple tasks simultaneously
- Working knowledge of MS Office including Word and Excel
- Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others
- Strong working knowledge of policies, procedures and laws
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Multiple years of Employee Relations or Human Resources experience
