Job Description: We are recruiting for a Supervisory Fingerprint Examiner or a Non-Reporting Fingerprint Supervisor who will manage all aspects of the day to day operation and staff within the Fingerprint Bureau. Please note if you are not a qualified Fingerprint Expert please apply for the Non Reporting Supervisor role only. Job Responsibilities: Supervise staff, monitor performance and take appropriate action to resolve issues as appropriate. To undertake ACE – V of finger and palm marks and fingerprints To provide specialist advice related to Fingerprint and associated legislative issues. Attend and participate in monthly management meetings and implement changes resulting from same. Where necessary, to assist with training and development of staff Job Requirements: The ability to pay meticulous attention to detail and work with complete accuracy. Analytical and problem solving skills. Experience of a busy working environment. Self motivated and able to work under own initiative and within a team. Experience in using a range of office based computer systems. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Experience in report writing and presentation skills. Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to work under pressure. Experience and commitment to providing quality of service. Ability to present a professional/competent image Qualification & Experience: Inclusion on the National Register of Fingerprint Experts. Educated to QCF Level 6 OR work experience deemed to have brought the postholder to a comparable level.
