Job Description:
This Operations and Mechanical (O&M) position requires a pre-employment assessment. Both experience and entry-level candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. Job Responsibilities:
- Stay abreast of instrumentation/control responsibilities as industry trends and technology change
- Troubleshoot and repair interlock control systems
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain process control loops and instrumentation including but not limited to:
- Work with Programmable Logic Control systems
- Safely perform duties with strict adherence to procedures, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and company policy
- Take ownership of personal safety and safety of co-workers and community
- Pressure transmitters and switches
- Guided wave radar level transmitters
- Read electrical drawings, industry relevant blueprints including P&ID’s, and loop drawings
- Troubleshoot electrical equipment, use test equipment, and understand electrical safety
- Flow measurement devices
- Temperature transmitters and switches
- Displacer level transmitters
Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Able and willing to work at heights above 25 feet and wear fall protection harness.
- Possess valid drivers’ license
- Able and willing to work in confined spaces
- Able and willing to work both independently in remote locations and in a team environment
- Able and willing to work outside in all weather conditions
- Able and willing to work shift work, weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Currently possess or be able to qualify for a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
- Basic computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office)
- Desire and ability to be a leader in personal safety
