Job Description:

Deutsche Bank is committed to the highest standards of control in the areas of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions and Embargoes, Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC) and Anti-Fraud (collectively referred to as Anti-Financial Crime (AFC). Deutsche Bank established a global NLS function with dedicated accountabilities and responsibilities in order to mitigate the regulatory and reputational risks associated with violations of AFC laws and regulations. You will report to the Head of NLS, and will assume responsibility for the NLS effectiveness testing and controls.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitoring/ execution of NLS system controls
• Monitoring of daily screening volumes and investigation of any inconsistencies
• Executing internal Quarterly Effectiveness Testing under a supervision of NLS Subject Matter Expert
• Investigating any issues raised by business, audits or regulators with relation to the NLS controls
• Participating in periodical SWIFT Peers Filter Assessment testing

Job Requirements:

• Excellent analytical skills combined with the ability to interpret and draw conclusions from big data sets
• Experience working with regulatory bodies in the financial sector (e.g. Federal Reserve Bank
• A strong strategic thinker and be capable of delivering a large change programme whilst also managing an important, growing client-facing ‘run the Bank’ service
• Experience within the area of AFC Sanctions and Embargoes as well as knowledge of national and international regulations related to Sanctions and Embargoes, Know Your Client (KYC), Politically Exposed Person (PEP), Adverse Media (ADM), etc
• Knowledge of NLS screening systems and their optimisation
