CPA Careers – In Depth Tax Course

Job Description:

As a Principal in the tax education group, Member Development and Support (MDS), you will be part of the creation, development, delivery and ongoing refinement of the In-Depth Tax Program and other products and services that support the In-Depth faculty, members and other business professionals.  You will assist with developing and implementing a strategy that maximizes educational impact for participants, assists with faculty development and relationships, and responds to emerging and shifting MDS needs of a large and diverse tax community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with the marketing team to ensure the best possible reach and commercial success of products
• Work closely with program managers to ensure programs are delivered and executed in a timely, professional and cost-effective way
• Develop and enhance relationships with existing and potential course faculty and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with colleagues in Tax Education and other CPA Canada departments and external experts to design, create, and update learning materials related to the In-Depth Tax Program’s effective delivery
• Work closely with the Learning Design and Development team to develop and deliver appropriate and effective faculty training
• Work with external shareholders to consolidate feedback on learning needs and course improvement

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5-10 years of professional experience practicing tax or in tax education, including experience in tax-writing and editing
• Keen attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Highly proactive and innovative
• Completion of CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Program preferred
• CPA, MTax, or MEd designation
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple large projects
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
• Team player with the ability to work with multiple internal groups and external stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
