Job Description: As a Project Portfolio Specialist, you will drive central planning, dependency management and executive reporting. You will be working across the Office of the CITO and I&T. Working with various teams, you will produce the overall transformation plan including outcomes, milestones, and dependencies. This will provide transparency of progress and help us to make sure we deliver amazing propositions for colleagues and business partners. Job Responsibilities: Support the implementation and maintenance of the PPO quality strategy. Support Project Managers where necessary in project initiation, planning, execution, or control. Review project closeout documentation for accuracy and completion. Collect and analyze data on benefits realization. Support the review of benefits and provide advice to enhance the quality of the benefits Support project teams in project financial, risk and issue management as directed. As part of a team understand the detail of projects and provide governance advice to project teams. Work with business units to ensure the tracking of project benefits. Assist with the assessment and analysis of proposed project investments Maintain repository and act as custodian of PPO policies, standards, artifacts, and procedures. Assist in strategic and budgetary planning processes (as needed). Monitor the portfolio to ensure compliance to Project Delivery Life Cycle (PDLC- CN Operating Model). Review Project Change Requests. Job Requirements: Manage project intake process along with any incoming engagement needs. Managing the integrated transformation roadmap and associated financials. Provide project management guidance to other members of the team. Responsible for collecting and consolidating transformation data from a variety of sources for analytics (time, scope, change, budget, benefits, risk, quality) and to produce regular reports and presentations for all levels of governance and key stakeholders. Develop PPO processes and provide training, coaching, oversight, and continuous improvement. Work across the portfolio to monitor the delivery of project outcomes. Support the portfolio and project management tools to ensure accurate, relevant, and up-to-date information. Support the production of pipeline data analysis across dependencies, key resource needs, priorities, and benefits. Lead ad hoc studies and investigations. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Operating processes, templates, and systems. Support the Office of the CITO communication and change activities to ensure all stakeholders are informed of the latest PPO processes. Support project quality management planning, project health checks and lessons learned Develop Management Reports to provide stakeholders with transparency on the progress and health of projects and the portfolio. Provide introduction, briefing and uplift sessions on governance and project management related processes.
