Job Description:

The incumbent will be responsible for designing research investigations related to the effect of chemical and other agents on human beings.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and conduct analytical studies including determination of test procedures, response, limits, ranges of variables and reliability to validate the model’s capabilities.
• Design and develop modes to capture and display environmental variables.
• Prepare reports of findings.
• Detect, monitor and accurately measure scientific solutions and exposure assessment performance parameters identified for field and laboratory research projects.

• Research position: Yes, since this is a research position, an evaluation of the scientific contributions, recognition and professional standing of the researcher as they relate to the position being filled will be made to determine qualifications. Candidates should include all pertinent information regarding their research accomplishments, e.g. list of publications and presentations.

Qualification & Experience:

• Specialized experience is experience which is directly related to the position which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of the position to include experience designing, developing, and conducting research investigations related to the effects of chemical and other agents on human beings.
• A combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major, as shown above, plus appropriate experience or additional education.
• Basic Qualifications: A degree in biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
