Job Responsibilities:

  • A list of the courses you have taken as well as any courses that you are taking now, or that you will be taking this academic year
  • Be the minimum age to work in the province where the job is located.
  • A covering letter “Please explain why you are interested in the Research Affiliate Program with the NML and describe your particular area of research interests.”
  • Be enrolled in an academic program that requires research as part of your curriculum.

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of theories, current principles, techniques and procedures used in one or more of the following areas, dependent on the needs of the position being filled; microbiology (virology, bacteriology, mycology, parasitology), cell biology, immunology, molecular biology, structural biology, genomics, proteomics, or bioinformatics.

  • Ability to perform lab work with minimal supervision.

  • Experience in performing or researching methodologies in one or more of the following biological disciplines; microbiology (virology, bacteriology, mycology, parasitology), cell biology, immunology, molecular biology, structural biology, genomics, proteomics, or bioinformatics (depending on the needs of the position).
