Job Description:

The Intern, CN Elevate is responsible for supporting CN’s streams, including Finance, Procurement and Supply Management, Mechanical, Engineering, Human Resources (HR), Change Management, Data, and Technical Delivery. The incumbent participates in simplifying, improving, and harmonizing CN’s key business processes by leveraging the new technology platform S4 HANA to reach the next level and supporting the Company in achieving its financial and operational objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform various analyses
• Support change management activities such as process documentation, change impact analysis and development of end-user communications and messaging
• Perform tasks under the Data Stream, including data cleansing, data conversion, and report assessment
• Perform tasks related to security and controls such as risk identification and compensatory controls, as well as the definition and assignment of security roles
• Participate in testing activities, which include documenting test cases, executing, and recording test results
• Support the team in the development of the detailed process design and functional specifications

Job Requirements:

• Fluently bilingual both written and verbal (English, French)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Access*)
• Planning and organization skills
• Experience with Systems, Applications and Procedures (SAP)*
• Deadline focused and results oriented
• Communicates with impact

Qualification & Experience:

• Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Mechanical, Human Resources, Information and Technology (I&T), Procurement and SupplyManagementor equivalent
• Any experience/education/skills/knowledge for these above would be considered as an asset
