Job Description:

A successful candidate will have a creative and entrepreneurial spirit and be excited to work in a fast-paced environment. He or she will be a self-starter, with the ability to interact with a variety of people and teams to hunt for corporate brand social stories and effectively lead on multiple projects. A high level of sensitivity to the critical factors driving brand and reputation in their respective market will be essential.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the competitive landscape, emerging trends, and platform updates, presenting recommendations for growth opportunities
  • Serve as day-to-day point person in country for BlackRock’s Employee Brand Ambassador program, enabling local employees to share
  • BlackRock related content with their personal networks
  • Report on content performance with actionable insights on an ongoing basis
  • Produce written content for Country Manager / Spokesperson social media channels
  • Lead and grow BlackRock’s organic social media presence in market
  • Contribute to editorial content calendar, proposing innovative ideas to leverage cultural moments and demonstrate the societal impact
  • BlackRock has in the local communities in which it operates in
  • Serve as social media subject matter expert in country, sharing best practices across the region and globally
  • Help execute the integration of social media into all appropriate company-wide initiatives such as brand campaigns, corporate announcements, and events
  • Partner with external agencies on creative development and translations
  • Close collaboration with global and regional content strategists, web teams and social media teams, as well as Internal Communications

Job Requirements:

  • Fluency in English, and completely flawless written and verbal communication skills in local language
  • Digital native with knowledge of social media and emerging content platforms
  • Self-starter with strong editorial judgment about what content is appropriate for each market

Qualification & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in corporate communications, advertising, branding, and/or digital marketing
  • Agency experience or experience managing agencies in-house a plus
  • B2B or financial services experience a plus
  • Experience using social media content management tools (e.g. Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Dynamic Signal) preferred
  • Passion and enthusiasm for digital communications
