Job Description:

The Investor Services Representative will work in our BlackRock’s Liquidity Funds Service Center as part of our Client Order Management team, based in Wilmington, DE. The team of representatives is responsible for providing the highest quality of client service to shareholders, prospective shareholders and Financial Professionals. Our professionals take care of high volume trading, new account opening, account maintenance and issue resolution, while building and maintaining relationships with clients through verbal and written communications. This role also requires partnering with other departments throughout BlackRock to successfully deliver results to our clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Diligence in mitigating risk for both clients and the firm through the adherence to strict authentication standards for client validation and a continued risk awareness within existing controls
  • Engage with our Funds Transfer Agent to produce accurate and timely deliverables
  • Work in conjunction with other teams in the Global Client Services to meet departmental quality standards, established client service levels and to ensure a smooth flow of operation
  • Perform operational activities such as reviewing documentation to assist our Transfer Agent with opening new shareholder accounts, assisting clients with the requirements or facilitating maintenance requests
  • Communicate money flows with the Portfolio Management Group to help monitor money market fund inflows and outflows
  • Provide high touch, high quality, professional service to internal and external clients
  • Lead and complete ad-hoc projects assigned
  • Respond to and handle incoming telephone calls from institutional clients who invest in our BlackRock Liquidity Funds products
  • Process client transactions with precision to ensure accurate, same day trade settlement

Job Requirements:

  • Desire to learn asset management industry from the ground up (industry knowledge a plus)
  • Ability to successfully work in a fast paced environment and work well under challenging situations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work shifts (7:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 a.m. to 6:30pm., 10:15 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.), including overtime when necessary
