Argos Delivery Jobs – Research Executive

Job Description:

At Sainsbury’s, we are busy running and developing the best loyalty programme to help us get to know our customers better than anyone else. The Nectar research team play a crucial role in this, enabling us to speak directly to customers via the Nectar panel, acting as a powerful resource both for Sainsbury’s, our Nectar partners and our FMCG suppliers.

Through the Nectar loyalty scheme we are able to utilise our transactional database for recruiting, informing and enhancing our research offer, integrating actual shopping behaviour with customer opinions and motivations. The Nectar research team are responsible for conducting a range of research projects (e.g. concept testing, NPD, brand and CSAT trackers) across methodologies and clients, building on existing client relationships and analytical capabilities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team to successfully deliver research projects to stakeholders
• Day to day management of ad hoc and tracking projects
• Work on all stages of the project lifecycle, including: designing research materials (such as questionnaires), checking survey scripts, monitoring fieldwork, writing tab specs, checking tables, supporting in creating and checking PPT reports

Job Requirements:

• Curiosity in understanding customers
• High level of attention to detail
• Good project management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A willingness to get involved in all stages of a research project
• Motivation & interest to work in Market Research & Insights
• Experience using some research methodologies (particularly online research) and an understanding of key research principles
• Good attention to detail and a genuine passion for high quality delivery, particularly when working on multiple projects concurrently
• A highly organised approach to work
