Job Description:

As a Comfort Care Aide (Client Companion) and a key member of the collaborative care team, you will provide patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS. You will follow the care plan using your knowledge, skills and abilities to provide safe and competent care while maintaining a safe working culture, assessing and controlling possible health and safety risks. You will work under the supervision of a regulated health professional while delivering health care services.

Job Requirements:

• In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
• English language proficiency including comprehension, reading, writing and speaking required.
• Standing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, bending and carrying during the entire shift; frequent awkward positions Ability to be adaptable and work in a high pace frequently changing environment Continuously wearing a surgical mask – Donning and Doffing PPE between clients
