Job Description:

This position is responsible and accountable for providing the direction, team leadership and organization over the activities of Seniors Health within a specific area(s) in support of the vision, mission and business plan of Alberta Health Services. The position is responsible and accountable for making front line unit-level decisions and having direct leadership responsibility for contributing to the achievement of the goals of Seniors Health in a person-centered care environment.

Job Requirements:

  • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required. 3-5 years in a health care provider role and a minimum of 1year working in a leadership capacity.
  • A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.
  • Applicants with a diploma in Nursing and 3 -5 years recent experience in Home Care/Supportive Living/Long Term Care may be considered.
